Spring Horse Riding Lessons
Date: March 9 – May 7, 2026
Cost: $360 for 8 lessons
Saddle up for weekly group horseback riding lessons for kids ages 8 and up! With small groups of up to four riders, each session builds confidence, skills, and a love for horses in a safe, encouraging environment. Join a group of other riders, or register your entire group together. Monday–Thursday lesson times available. Lessons begin Monday, March 9 and run through Thursday, May 7.

Equine Skills Classes
Learn how to braid your horse’s mane and tail! From the basic three-strand braid to fun style like dressage rosette braids, students will practice simple techniques to decorate and dress up their pony.
Open to all levels.
Learn from our Miracle Ranch staff the basics of caring for horses in an emergency! In this interactive hands-on class, students will learn how to take vitals, recognize common injuries, and practice simple first aid skills.

Come learn the important horsemanship skill of lunging! In this class, students will learn how to properly handle lunging equipment, understand horse body language, and practice lunging a horse at different gaits.
Open to all levels.
This beginner groundwork class introduces students to the essential skills needed to safely handle and communicate with horses from the ground. In this fun, hands- on class students will learn how to catch, halter and lead their horse through various obstacles, while developing awareness of body language and personal space.
Open to all levels.
This intermediate groundwork class will build on foundational skills to help kids develop more precise communication and control with horses from the ground. Students will practice refining cues to move specific body parts, improve responsiveness, and guide horses through more complex obstacle patterns.
Open to level 3 riders, or level 2 riders with previous groundwork class experience (from horse camp) or instructor approval.
Come try out a trail course! This trail obstacles class is designed for riders of all levels to develop control, balance, and effective communication with their horse. Riders will have the opportunity to work with their horses both on the ground and under saddle through a variety of obstacles.

Have you ever sat backwards on a horse? Now’s your chance! Vaulting (gymnastics on horseback) builds balance, strength, and confidence in riders of all levels. In this class, riders will learn a variety of vaulting moves, from basic positions to more technical skills, with exercises adjusted to each rider’s experience.

Western gaming is all about speed, precision, and the partnership between horse and rider. In this class, riders will be introduced to classic gaming patterns such as the cloverleaf barrel pattern, pole bending, and the keyhole. Come experience these events while building confidence, control, and teamwork with your horse. Get ready to learn, ride, and have fun!
This will be geared towards level 1 & 2 riders.
