A Christ-centered camp nestled in the fir trees of the Pacific Northwest, Miracle Ranch is rich with one-of-a-kind experiences like horsemanship, paintball, rock climbing, kayaking, and more. A week at camp gives kids memories to last a lifetime and may even change their life!
CRISTA Camps History
CRISTA Camps began in the summer of 1960, when a series of “miracles” made possible the purchase of 70 forested acres on Horseshoe Lake. That property became Miracle Ranch, our western-style camp in Port Orchard, Washington. By 1966, Miracle Ranch was serving over 600 campers each summer. Fast forward eight years to 1974, and Miracle Ranch served over 1,200 overnight campers, 90-day campers, and 1,045 weekend campers – it had become THE place to be each summer!
And today? We serve over 12,000 campers each summer. While we’ve certainly changed, one thing remains. Our focus has been and continues to be creating an environment committed to challenging campers to grow spiritually and to build relationships with friends, counselors, and their Creator in a beautiful, outdoor, adventure-filled environment.
About CRISTA Ministries
As part of the CRISTA family, five different ministries have answered the call to serve in their unique way, striving together toward our shared goal of seeing lives transformed … from young minds being equipped with knowledge at King’s Schools to World Concern’s relief and development efforts around the globe, radio stations at CRISTA Media pointing listeners to Jesus with Biblical messages, Christian music to seniors receiving exceptional care at our CRISTA Senior Living communities, hundreds of CRISTA Ministries employees globally answering a call to serve those in need, and the Gospel reaching thousands of campers year-round at CRISTA Camps.
